Our Strategy

At Fairview Baptist Church we are fulfiling the Great Commission by:

Exalting the Savior - This means we enter into fellowship with God through a relationship with His Son Jesus Christ and then enter into fellowship with His people, the church. We seek to do this through personal devotion and corporate worship. Our first goal is to be transformed into the image of Christ as we encounter Him through our daily walk of faith and corporate fellowship with His body of believers.

"Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 15:5-6, NKJV)

Equipping the Saints - This means we seek as a church to be enabled to do the work of Christ's Kingdom. Our desire is to be prepared to not just survive, but thrive. We engage in Bible study, faith-filled prayer, and genuine fellowship through Sunday School and Discipleship classes. In these settings and other mission endeavors we are able to grow in our knowledge of Christ.

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15, NKJV)

Evangelizing the Sinner - Evangelism is simply sharing the good news about who Jesus Christ is and what He has done through His death on the cross, burial in the grave, and resurrection to new, eternal life. We seek to fully share a faithful witness of how to know Jesus Christ in a personal way by grace through faith.

Jesus said, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20, NKJV)
